چکیده

A new species, Asplenium alleniae , is described from high elevation habitats in Sabah (Malaysia) and Papua New Guinea. Previous phylogenetic analyses of chloroplast loci determined that A. was most closely related to pauperequitum Zealand. differs obviously by the acuminate apices its longer pinnae. The combination pinnate fronds with few pairs primary pinnae dark red-brown axes distinguishes superficially similar species Malesia. provisionally assessed as Endangered.
